Not long now?

Well, the time is coming!! I have been riding 40 and 50 miles each time out. I feel like I am getting stronger and I am ready to get started. I have to pack up my bike on Tuesday. The guys at The Cyclery in Edwardsville are going to help me mail it out to Tim's Bike Shop in Everett, WA. I have already mailed out all my supplies and now it's just a matter of time. I got a nice offer out of the blue from a fellow cyclist and his wife from Spokane WA for a place to stay and a meal!!
Thanks Hank, that offer means a lot to me!!!! Well, I will post again soon. I fly out June 19th and start riding the 21st. Please tell anyone you know who might find it interesting and who might want to follow along the next 6 weeks? Take care. TK

Hi Tom,

From one avid cyclist to another, I wish you the best of luck during this awesome challenge. I hope you have plenty of chassis cream.

Be safe and have fun,

http://laurenanddavesexcellentadventure.blogspot.com/ - another rider's site (well, two) - and the big ride website both (not the ala's site but the event site) both are saying that the Big Ride Across America cancelled this year... I'm rather confused, here...?

oh wait! I didn't notice before - you found something to ride for and are doing it on your own. That's truly wonderful! I wish you lots of luck! Maybe see you in next year's Ride? :)
